Partner Selection: AR Hosiery selects the most appropriate logistics partner based on your location, order weight, and delivery urgency.
3. Shipping Charges
Shipping Cost Structure:
- Delhi NCR: ₹50-100 per box (up to 25 kg) - FREE for orders above ₹25,000
- North India: ₹75-150 per box (up to 25 kg) - FREE for orders above ₹40,000
- West/South India: ₹100-200 per box (up to 25 kg) - FREE for orders above ₹50,000
- East/Northeast India: ₹150-250 per box (up to 25 kg) - FREE for orders above ₹60,000
- Remote Areas: ₹200-300 per box (up to 25 kg) - FREE for orders above ₹75,000
Bulk Orders: For very large orders (500+ pieces), shipping costs are negotiable and can be adjusted based on volume.
4. Order Processing
Before Your Order Ships:
- Order Confirmation: You receive order confirmation email/WhatsApp within 24 hours
- Payment Verification: Advance payment verified (50% for new customers, 30% for established customers)
- Production/Picking: 2-4 days for ready stock; 7-15 days for custom orders
- Quality Check: 100% quality inspection before packing
- Final Payment: Remaining payment due before shipment
- Packing: Secure packing with AR Hosiery branded boxes/bags
- Dispatch Notification: You receive tracking number via email/WhatsApp
5. Order Tracking
How to Track Your Order:

6. Delivery & Unloading
At the Time of Delivery:
- Inspect Before Accepting: Check boxes for external damage
- Count Boxes: Verify number of boxes/cartons against delivery challan
- Report Damage Immediately: If boxes are damaged, note it on delivery receipt and inform AR Hosiery within 24 hours
- Unloading Assistance: For large orders, delivery partners provide unloading support (check with logistics partner)
- Signature Required: Authorized person must sign delivery receipt
7. Delivery Delays
Possible causes for delays:
- Peak Season: June-November (school reopening season) - expect 5-7 extra days
- Weather Conditions: Monsoons, winter fog in North India
- Logistics Delays: Partner-side delays, vehicle breakdowns, strikes
- Remote Locations: Limited transportation frequency to remote areas
- Incorrect Address: Delivery delays if address is incomplete/incorrect
In case of delay: AR Hosiery will proactively contact you and the logistics partner to expedite delivery.
8. Failed Delivery Attempts
If delivery fails:
- ❌ First Attempt: Courier will attempt redelivery next day
- ❌ Second Attempt: You will receive call/SMS to schedule delivery
- ❌ Third Attempt: Package held at courier office for customer pickup (7 days)
- ❌ After 7 Days: Package returned to AR Hosiery (₹500-1000 return shipping charged to customer)
To Avoid Failed Delivery: Ensure correct address, contact number, and availability at delivery address.
9. Custom Clearance (if applicable)
For interstate shipments, GST/E-Way Bill is handled by AR Hosiery. No additional documentation required from customer for domestic Indian deliveries.
